Dr. Young is the owner of Spine and Rehab Solutions. She is an orthopedic physical therapist with extensive rehab experience treating patient ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Dr. Young was credentialed in the McKenzie Method in 1993, an approach emphasizing the use of effective self-treatment techniques to speed the recovery process and prevent recurrent episodes. She has published numerous articles on neck and back pain, and has presented at national and international conferences.
Gail is a McKenzie trained physical therapist with fifteen years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical therapy. Knowledgeable in treating a wide variety of orthopedic problems, she will work with you to develop an individualized treatment program with your goals at heart. Gail looks forward to assisting you to reduce your pain, improve fitness and help you return to the activities you enjoy.
Dr. Barry Dale, PT is an associate professor at the University of South Alabama Department of Physical Therapy where he teaches courses on kinesiology, orthopedics, research and sports medicine. He maintains his clinical practice at Spine and Rehab Solutions. Dr. Dale is board certified in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and has a strong interest in gait and motion analysis. He has published numerous research articles dealing with rehabilitation of orthopedic disorders, and has presented his research at national and international conferences. His current research deals with tendon pain and dysfunction, and with lumbar spine motion in golfers.
